TERMINAL ADVISORY 2024

Dear Valued Clients and Shipping Lines,

We would like to bring your attention to the attached NAQIA guidelines related to wooden dunnage and fumigation at our terminal:

If any wooden dunnage is to be gated out from the terminal, a valid fumigation certificate must be submitted to Terminal OPS/Docs (during vessel pre-planning for documentation purposes) by Requestor/Responsible Party.

It is Requestor/Responsible Party responsibility to ensure that all fumigation certificates are timely provided to the terminal (when cargo is to be stripped and/or unlashed within the terminal premises).

If wooden dunnage is left at the terminal for disposal after discharge, and no fumigation certificate is provided, fumigation service will be charged to Requestor/Responsible Party.

If wooden dunnage is intended to be returned to the vessel, fumigation certificate is not required.

In cases where cargo includes wooden dunnage, and a fumigation certificate is not presented with appropriate documentation, wooden dunnage will not be allowed to gate out until same is fumigated, and cost of fumigation service is settled with the Terminal by Requestor/Responsible Party.

Fumigation service will be charged at cost received from Fumigation service provider + management/disbursement fee (8%).

Thank you for your cooperation in adhering to these NAQIA guidelines.

Should you have any further queries or require clarification, feel free to reach out to us.
