In observance of the Public Holidays during the Easter Long Weekend, be advised of the following operating schedules and port closure period for MITL
MITL will be closed on: Good Friday, 02nd April from 08:00am until Saturday, 03rd April 08:00am, 2021.
Furthermore, please be noted that the 03rd Apr to 05th April are all declared as Public Holidays. As such,
- Vessel Operations:
- Close/stop for Good Friday, from 02nd April 0800H and resume on Saturday, 03rd April 0800H,
- From 03rd Apr to 05th April, Continue as normal in line with the MITL berthing schedule. Subject to public holiday shift fee as per tariff book.
- Receiving and Delivery:
- Gate Close for Good Friday, from 02nd April 0800H till Saturday, 03rd April 0800H,
- from 03rd Apr to 05th April , MIT gates will be closed but port users/clients who wish to receive/deliver containers can apply for overtime on Thursday the 01st Apr and arrange the payments on or before 1500H/01st Apr 2021.
- Billing Office:
- Office Close for Good Friday, from 02nd April 0800H till Saturday, 03rd April 0800H,
- from 03rd Apr to 05th April , MIT Billing office will be closed but port users/clients who wish to transact business can apply for overtime on Thursday the 01st Apr and arrange the payments on or before 1500H/01st Apr 2021.
Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday 06th April 2021 from 0800H
MIT Management has full control over Approve/Decline OT based on the availability of resources/manpower.
