Motukea International Container Terminal wishes to inform your respective offices that construction
works of the final 4th and 5th Stages of the Motukea International Container - Yard Refurbishment
Program will commence on Monday, Monday 31st Oct 2022.
PNGPCL has appointed Hebou to continue the surfacing work of the pending gravel areas in MIT yard,
as per below map on Section 1 (Stage 4) and Section 2 (Stage 5).
With the aim to minimize disruption as much as possible, MIT will continue with the yard traffic flows as
they currently stand today to ensure a continuance of traffic flows understanding from external trucking
companies.
Estimated timeline, as of this writing, for Stage 4 to be completed is by mid-December. Stage 5 will be
completed by early February.
