Dear Valued Customer,
SPICTL Management is glad to advise that LTB (Lae Tidal Basin) has finally fully deployed 2 x Ship-to-Shore cranes.
This is the result of the successful integration of PNG Power Sub-Station supply, SPICTL Genset power supply and the 2 x Ship-to-Shore cranes.
With this great news, vessel turnaround time is expected to decrease even more and SPICT will continue to be a non-congested terminal/berth.
We look forward to berthing as many vessels as possible in LTB for fastest and most efficient operations, thus LMW (Lae Main Wharf) international berth operations will be minimized to “overflow”.
Also note that FCL import that are discharged at LMW can be pick-up by customers directly from LMW.
LMW gates will continue to operate 24/7 for Port Users convenience.
